Why has the O2 network been down for over one week in the Bristol and Southwest area.

Network status repearedly reports that a mast is down!! and despite chatting to O2 Support nothing seems to be being done to resolve this.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

According to a tweet from O2 it's impacting PAYG customers only -

I'm sure they will try to get this issue resolved as soon as possible. At least they have acknowledged the problem so it must be serious.

Interesting response from the Status Tool here:

Oh dear oh dear. Hope it's back soon or there will be massive loss-of-service payouts of about £0.98 if it runs over the weekend and into next week (remember that one?) 😁

The Status bar is no longer showing the red announcement at the top so I suspect it 'could' be fixed?

Also my postcode is showing as back to normal.
