Could anyone tell me what the O2 landline number ending in numbers 1234 is ? It has appeared on my bill twice now and I did not call this number or text.

I think that code appears when you send a picture message as an email.

Thank you BUT I don't send picture messages as e mails, I've been very wary of what I do send over the past 3 months or so because of these charges outside normal allowance.

I don't even send or open attachments or links that come in through my BIS.

Neither do i use facebook on my Blackberry or any instant messaging. Sounds boring I know but that's the only way I can keep tabs on 02 !

All I use it for is nothing really, just plain texting and e mailing via BIS, it's a far cry from my PAYG Orange Blackberry where I never got charged for smileys or picture attachments in e mails.

Is it not possible you have received an MMS and clicked reply, as that would create an MMS?

No not remotely possible, I am very wary and would know if I was replying to an MMS.

this happened to me once on my previous Blackberry on Orange PAYG and I'm very careful since then.

I always start a new message if i see if it's an MMS.

You could have sent a text to an email address in error.
