I've been having a problem with my signal now for years with O2 and I just found out about their O2 BoostBox OR Femtocell, I called O2 and ask about and told it’s not available because of their TUGO app which I have been using but its crashes all the time. Does anyone know if their still do the BoostBox or not? As most O2 customers know what they are like for getting out of give us anything back like of this that could fix things.

The Boostbox is only available if you're an O2 business customer. That's why they suggested TuGo. There are problems with the app, and it doesn't work for everyone, unfortunately.

Hi there,
I believe boostboxes are limited to business customers.
What problems are you having with TuGo? what version are you running and which phone do you have?

Do you realy want to pay the £150 or £250 for a boost box from o2.
It is only for business customers and there is no indoor gurantee or requirement from ofcom (not until end 2017) O2 will be upgrading the whole network by end 2015 to give 98% indoor coverage due to the coverage obligation lot bought at 4g auction this is 2g 3g and 4g.
I would guess this is why o2 only offer it to business customers and even then it is not well publisised.
And tugo is not an option for us business customers at the moment

The App TUgo just crashers a lot of the time and if the call is drop and can still be talking and not see it's drop the call. As for the BoostBox I wouldn't them anything for it if I can as they cant give me good network cover where I am so I think it should be totally free. I called O2 yesterday and asked about it again and it's like trying to get blood from a stone with them and they even said I should move networks and go with someone else lol ! Just goes to show they really don't care much about they customers. Mind you I would move if Virgin did the iPhone !

Vodafone have been offering their Fem2Cell for a couple of years and is only £50. Supports a min of 3G and there's supposedly a new version coming for 4G

According to the complaints in their forum it is very troublesome too.
