Number transfer

Anonymous
Not applicable

i have just joined O2 and requested a number transfer from EE on Tuesday morning.
When my reception was lost I reset my phone and now have O2 4G reception.

when I make a call the number displayed on my house phone is the correct number that I had transfered over from EE.
But when I dial my mobile it goes straight to EE answer phone and not O2.

Does this mean there has been a problem with the transfer, or is the transfer still going through and I should I wait.

Hi @Anonymous It sounds as if your number is still porting over. Keep turning your mobile off and back on. Normally a number port will take 24-48hrs. If it is still not working properly by tomorrow then contact EE support

It should have fully ported by now. You can occasionally get a split port but this can only be fixed by calling cs and asking them to sort it for you.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
