Morning all, my number is due to port to O2 from Vodafone. I just put my O2 sim in my phone, but it is still calling from the O2 number.

However, when i call the number i am keeping, it is going to O2 voicemail... Does this mean the number will be ported very soon?

I am expecting a call that I need to take.

It would appear the port has started so just keep rebooting your phone until it comes online fully, which can take up to 24 hours but usually completes in 4 max.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

No, that info is stored on the sim.

If using an iPhone, check Settings >Phone >My number
