Hi,
I wanted to move my number from old provider to new o2 contract. It was suppose to happen on 23rd Jan 2022 but I received a message that it will happen on 25th Jan 2022 due to some technical issue. On 25th Jan I lost connection from my old provider but the number still no transferred to o2. Its been 24 hours I dont have access to my number and its causing me so much loss at work and really talking a toll mentally without access to my number for so long. Can someone help me in sorting out and recover mobile number?

There's a known issue currently.
Just keep rebooting your phone until it gets a signal.
If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

Tried several times to reboot but still no luck. Its been 2 days now and I dont have access to my number, I am now in panick state and its really taking a toll on my mental health. Worst service ever by o2. I have ported my number few times in past and never had such kind of issue where my number is disconnected for 2 days.
Can someone please help me to sort my number transfer and get my old number back?

Have you been in touch with o2 via social media as advised above @indysingh ?
They are the only ones that can help as we on here are o2 customers like you...

I am in exactly the same boat. I keep getting fobbed off by customer services, and told contradictory information. My number port was supposed to happen on Saturday 22/01 and was delayed to Tuesday 25/01. I've had zero texts since then with any information about it and both my old sim and new sim have stopped working. I have young children and need to be able to be contacted in an emergency. This is the worst experience i've ever had. No one cares at all and no one rings you back.

Having similar - sim went to unregistered on day of the port, switched sims still unregistered. Old number is dead, 3 calls to CS and each time told the request has been escalated. one agent said the number was unregistered, the last one said EE still had it and to contact them (o2 requested the porting why would i do it? my online account says my EE contract has finished and I can't speak to EE tec as my number is not registered to them). O2 CC can't see what the other agents have submitted, no email updates. You think when there is a glitch it would trigger an email to keep the customer updated? I'm in limbo... and is a business number
