I have hjust joined O2 but I do not want to change my number, so I contacted customer service 2 days ago. they said they would carry that number over in 24hrs, but this has not been updated and it has been over 48hrs. I will not be changing my current SIM until I can be reassured that my number will be the same. It's quite frustrating that I've faced so many problems with O2 so far and I'm starting to lose my patience. What should I do?

@Missing_SIM

You need to contact O2 again to check the status of your request.
All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
Or 202 from your O2 mobile.
Advice from an O2 Guru to get through:
When you call 202, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
