Hi there,

I had a random text of someone saying they had a missed call off me, and I haven't rang them, they sent me a screenshot back of their call log, and my number was listed, no idea how this could have happened, I don't know this person. I've done the find my device to see if it picks up any other devices, but it's just mine. Any ideas?

@GJK

Unfortunately it's a common thing these days.

Scammers spoof numbers to avoid detection and unluckily for someone, the number is active.

The good news is that they change numbers regularly, so they will have stopped using yours by now.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
