Note 7 upgrade

So when are O2 supposed to be shipping the Note 7 pre-order units?

CPW & Samsung are already shipping for Tuesday delivery and O2 is silent.

My order still sits at processsing.

Anyone have any ideas?

Yes but it doesn't actually say that....therefore 'implies' you will be getting the Note 7 from O2 on the 2nd September....

Mine turned up yesterday.  No sign of the GearVR though which was supposed to come with it and no communications.  Just a bit on the delivery manifest saying "GearVR - 0"

Usually, you would only get the freebies after the 14 day cooling off period, in case you changed your mind and returned the phone.
There must a process to claim it later though @Toby ?

The Gear VR is supposed to be included with the phone (according to Samsung and other mobile suppliers) however my guess is O2 are out of stock on those, so they should follow on a back order, but I would still raise this with Customer Services

I guess I was one of the lucky ones (and possibly because I got the pre-oder in on the day it opened as i'm too much of a Note Fanboy...) I shall see about the GearVR.  They appear to have changed the worrding on the current note 7 purchace page to say the GearVR will only be available whilst stocks last...

As I said on another thread...I am not sure why O2 think the demand is unprecedented? It's a long awaited flagship phone which has received excellent press/reviews...?
