I have moved recently and get a very poor signal. I spoke to an O2 customer service agent who said I should be getting a good signal and told me to go to an O2 shop to get a more up to date sim which i did (whilst the agent was still on the phone and discussed with the shop worker). This was done but now I cannot call at all as my phone says 'not registered with network'. I have checked my coverage and it says it is good. It has never worked properly since I moved and now wont work at all. My postcode is DA13 0BT. Please could you check what is happening.

I suggest you go back to the shop then.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@Gooner007

I'm sorry to say but it isn't o2's fault that you moved to an area that has variable coverage, a post code can cover a large area (as your does), and then it is subject to variations in terrain, obstacles in the way, radio interference, large stone walls.

And although the computer predicts coverage is good it isnt 100% accurate, and never will be.

Also as per the t&c's mobile coverage is not guaranteed to be 100% of the UK.

@MI5 has advised you what you need to do, and you can use Skype and use the freephone number to contact o2 0800 032 1402

The best option for you would be to get some PAYG sims on other networks and test the signal, then put into cancel the o2 contract and pay what the termination fee is and then leave and port your number out.
