Upgraded my phone to  a Samsung s5 on Saturday and the guys in the shop said it could take upto a maximum of 2 days to get 'registered on the network'. Well it's now been over 2 days and still nothing....

WIfe upgraded hers at the same time and had to use the landline as she's got exaactly the same problem.

Had the pc at work sitting on the o2 website waiting for an 'available agent'.......but still no-one available since 10am...lol

Any ideas?

Hi.

If you have an O2 powered phone ring Cs on 202 or on the landline. From a landline 0344 8090202 Standard UK Rate.

Live chat are generally ok for low level non account issues.

Try turning your phone off , remove the sim and wipe it, pull the battery (handset dependant ) and replace sim and turn back on.

As it was an upgrade you can use your old sim (if it's the same size), if not, has the old sim switched off or is it still in service?
I assume you have been rebooting the new phone if the old sim has now turned off?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
