Not receiving texts from any EE number

Hello, over the past 2 weeks or so I’ve not been able to receive texts from any EE numbers, only noticed when my parents messages weren’t coming through, my partner is on o2 with the same phone as myself (iphone 13 pro max) and she received texts from them without issue. I’ve tried a network reset on both mine and my parents phones and still no luck. Neither of them are blocked either. Is there any help anyone can offer (this has randomly rectified itself twice in the two weeks but then back to square one)

Your parents need to reach out to EE, and you can contact o2 , also have a look at the guide below:

Guide: Text Message Tips (not sent or received)

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to look into this for you

Done both and each network is saying there is no issue, was hoping someone else had/has the problem, tried all the stuff that post says and what o2 and ee have said and nothing seems to work permanently

This issue crops up from time to time and it is something that O2 customer service needs to escalate to the network team.

Customer service won't be aware of any issues but tech support will be familiar with it.

It requires a reset or some other magic twiddling and all will be well.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
