Not receiving text messages on my new phone

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I upgraded yesterday to a Samsung S7 Edge which I love, but I am a bit concerned as I am not receiving text messages from my husbands Vodafone S6 phonem, this was not a problem on my previous phone.  I have received texts from other people.

Can anyone give me any suggestions to how I can resolve this.

Many thanks.

Brilliant news it is now sorted, had a chat with a Guru and he got me to uninstall TUGo that did not work so he did it on my account at his end and WOO HOO I am now getting texts from my husband.

One very happy Birthday Girl.

Still love my S7

Thank you everyone for your help.

Hi @Anonymous We think this is some sort of network issue as yet undefined...as you are probably the 10th person on here over the past couple of days to have this problem...?

O2 have said they know of an issue effecting some customers.
I'd advise you call 202/and report it.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thank you for your very quick replies, I did look on the community forum but could not see anything. I will give them a ring and report the problem. slight_smile

A new phone seems to be the most common factor. Vodafone and EE have been mentioned but personally I think it's an o2 systems issue.

Good news though a little worrying that this is happening at all. It must be a known issue.
