Not getting service ie phone sent to insurance

Hi I sent my phone off 7days ago no replacement offered so I'm paying for no service how do I stand if I stop direct debit

Did you post the phone or take it instore?

 

When you get your phone back call customer service and you may be offered a goodwill gesture for the period of no service but ask politely.

 

As stated, do not cancel your direct debit.

 

Out of curiosity why were you accused of being a thief?

O2 will send the debt collectors after you....

You need to call and chase up progress on your phone...

Getting no where they say they have not received phone also I was basically called a thief by one of insurance team

Do not stop your direct debit as that can harm your credit file resulting in finding it harder to apply for bank accounts, phone contracts/upgrades etc.

Because the phone I have had a different imei number to my original phone the lady said how do I know phone isn't stolen well da why would I take damaged phone into store if it was stolen and I'm not a thief

If you swap phones you should inform the insurance company, so there is a chance it may not be covered.

The Ts&Cs say you need to tell them if you change your handset. It's the handset that's insured (bit like your car).
