My monthly contract is due to end on October 13th. I don't want to renew the contract. I just called and they said i have to give 30 days notice. Surely, if my contract is ending and I want it to run until the end, I don't have to give any notice, simply request that it is not renewed????
They suggested I transfer to Pay and Go as that doesn't require notice...WTF???
Can someone please advise.
Derek

Requesting not to be renewed is in effect giving notice and the 30 day period starts at that point. O2 will sort out the payment and issue a final bill. Don't cancel any direct debit until you receive and pay that bill.

A quick look through the terms will clear up how it works if you're not sure.
We're assuming you don't want to keep your number?
