Hello,
I have recently purchased/got a contract within the O2 for Pay Monthly sim card. I have decided that I also wanted to keep my old number. I have gone through the steps with my old carrier how to get transfer started. (GiffGaff - old carrier). Last night my number has been ported which in my O2 app it showed my old number. However, I have no signal, no data etc. I have also spoken to someone over the weekend and they have reassured me that once the port been completed it will all be working and I will receive a text about.
Before all this, once I received the sim I tried to get it up and running as the website instructed however I have been told on the phone to customer service that I need to pay my bill first in order to be able to use data etc which doesnt make sense as my pay date for contract isnt until end of Jan.
Can anyone help.
