No signal in rural location with O2

Anonymous
Not applicable

I just purchased a new phone and o2 pay monthly sim, no signal at all, when I chated with the help desk they told me the signal in my area was fine, actually the guy said its all right in your area? How can it be alright if I am not getting a signal.

Downloaded the TU go app on my home wifi only to find that I need a pin which will only be sent by text the o2 guy said 'well you will have to go somewhere with full signal.'

Really bad customer service, I think I will take the sim back to CPW and go  with another network that I can actually get a signal and some decient customer help from.

Bad show 02.

You can check your postcode here to see if there are any issues http://status.o2.co.uk/ and sometimes it helps to switch phone to 2g only if in weak signal areas.
Note also you only have 14 days to return and cancel your sim.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
