I updated sim via telephone call I received yesterday from o2 and now I have had no service for over 12 hours. I have tried all the usual things. Ie turning off and on. I can’t ring 02 because of this and I need to sort out ASAP. Need my phone for work

Are you sure it was O2 who called you?

Sounds like it may have been a third party pretending to be O2. If you upgraded through them, they will have switched your tariff to a new sim which is probably in the post to you, so your phone won't work until the new sim arrives.
