Hi @Anonymous Which country are you in? Are you PAYG or Contract?

Normally when you are abroad you turn the phone on and it connects to the network of that country. Are you able to call and txt but not  use data?

A bit more information would be useful.

You may have a roaming bar on your phone in which case you would need to contact customer services to get it lifted https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus (If your phone isnt working at all then use live chat)

Not every country has payandgo agreements in place but normally contract customers should have no problem. It may well be worth you choosing a network manually rather than autoconnect. There are usually various choices.
