No service in my area

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I live in Totteridge North London,

There is absolutely no signal in the house in my area,

This is an ongoing problem,

Can anyone suggest a solution? I've had a look at signal boosters online but none of them seem legit. Has anyone tried anything and it worked?

Thanks

It's not a question of not caring, it's a fact of life that certain phone signals like 3G aren't very good at penetrating buildings.

As the network evolves over the next year or so there's a good chance this will improve.

Nothing to do with the outage, but with "No Service in my area" only. I work in an area N11 3DH in North London where the signal strength is very poor (usually 1 bar out of 5 on phone display). Look at the network coverage map it does does show a slightly weak signal area. I have called o2 Customer Service trying to get to the Technical Dept but I just can't get past the Cust Service. The phone will not switch automatically to 2 G from 3G as there is still a small signal and the strength of 2 G is very good. I have to remember to manually switch the phone whenever I am there.

Anyone know if I can contact someone about this issue?

You cannot get through to the network guys at all, only customer services.
