No service after porting number

I’m searching for urgent help as I’ve now been without service for a days and probably more by judging from previous issues on this forum

 

I arranged porting to happen on Tuesday. Lost temp o2 number at 9am then EE at 4pm however my o2 sim stayed at showing no service and that is where I’m still at. After lots of calls today, false promises of working in 6 hours, network resets, emails to “back office” I’ve still needed the day with no service and even o2 wanting to send my no service number text messages. I forced them to check sim details were correct as I’m on an esim and they said that’s all ok. My new phone number rings out to o2 voicemail. I’m finding this whole process quite painful and customer service quite poor. Only left EE due to raising costs but that’s probably because I’ve never had any customer service issues, guess you pay for what you get.

Posts like this seem to be epidemic recently.
