No more 3G when making a call

I used to receive 3G whilst making a call on my iPhone 4S, yesterday I upgraded to a 4G iPhone 5S and now I don't get that anymore. Can anyone help as to why? O2 told me I would never get it, but I always used to. Thanks.

It shouldn't make any difference. The phone will search for the fastest connection available and if no 4G it should lock on to a 3G signal.

Hi.

Clean your sim with a cloth.

Settings , general , reset , reset network settings.

No worries.

Worth a try too.

Try a reset of your iPhone by ;

Hold the Top Button and Home Button until the Apple Logo appears, and then let go of both. Your iPhone will reset.

If your still having issues and the service status is showing god then perhaps seek a diagnostic via an apple Genius Bar.
