I updated my mobile on the 16th August 2020 and now its constantly showing No mobile networks i cannot make or receive calls the flight mode is on but when i go into settings its off on the control quick panel its showing on" why is this happening?
I have removed the sim several times but still showing the same thing and still no service

I would try a new sim. You can order one online, or by calling O2.

However, it would be far quicker to go instore. They would check everything for you and swap the sim as well.

Ive checked the network my family members all have coverage except me its ever since i updated the mobile if i change the sim would i loose all my stored info?

No you wouldn't. Info is stored on the phone not the sim.

I have taken my phone instore for a change of sim and it was working as before, just as I left the shop.

For future info, if you wanted to do a back up if you change PHONE, then follow the guide here.

@lulu6 When you updated your phone, did you use the new sim that came with it, or did you put your old sim in the new phone?

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
