Went on to 02 wendnesday 25th from Virgin. Wanted to keep my number so completed the transfer form.  My number has now been transfered and I can makes call and Texts, Recieve Texts BUT when anyone calls me it diverts straight to Virgin Mobile answerphone. How can this happen. Frustrating trying 02 'no support'. Thinking already I have made a bad move.

Is it something I have done on my settings? Galaxy s9

It sounds like a split port. You may need to speak to customer service

Call them rather than use live chat

If it’s only started to port over todayyou need to give it at least 24 hours for all services to come online.
Wait until the morning before panicking and calling as no one can do anything while it’s in progress.

If you are able to put the old (virgin) sim into another phone you will probably still get calls on the number you want to keep on that till that part of the port happens. ( and keep making make calls on it too, till the port completes.)

If you have access to a third phone with caller display you can call it from either phone, and see which phone is sending which number to the third phones display. Contrary to traditional advice you don't need to keep the phones switched off - but putting them into flight mode for a few second periodically won't hurt.

There is nothing you can do at your end to hurt or help this process, it'll happen when it happens, at some point the virgin SIM will stop getting a virgin connection and then the port will be complete.
