I am in the Postcode LN13 area but I have no coverage. I have complained about this but I'm being told there is whilst there is no coverage.

Hi @Anonymous and Welcome to the Forum.

If On checking your Service Status all is showing good then take a look at the 'planned maintenance' section at the bottom.

Download the MYNETWORK App to report the masts to 02.

Ask friends and neighbours in the same area on O2 to do the same.

Assuming this happens only when at home.

The typical reason is mast congestion which isn't something you can affect by performing any generic troubleshooting tips.

If your not on a contract then another option is to try out alternative payg SIM cards from other Networks and possibly switch.

Let us know how you get on.

Hi @Anonymous

A colleague of mine has done some checking for you... this is his advice

"On checking the o2 coverage checker http://www.o2.co.uk/coveragechecker for your postcode and enabling the masts.... you are some 6 km from your nearest mast, so coverage will be poor / non existent there.

I would advise checking the other networks for coverage.

No fault just a pure distance issue"

I hope this helps

Checked my setting and also checked to see if there are any mast problems or maintenace and so far nothing.

My signal is normally spot on at home with no problems.

currently stumped as to what the fault is

Work through the link to see where your problem lies.

Hope that sorts the problem for you. If you've gone through the fault finding list and there are no network issues then it could well be the problem.

Are you able to try your sim in another handset to confirm that it is the sim that's faulty?
