Still a continuing problem in Paddock Wood, Kent with no signal from the local transmitter mast. I know it’s being upgraded having had the notice that it would go off intermittently in the last few days as work was being carried out.
There is NO O2 signal in Paddock Wood.
Using “Network Cell Info Lite” confirms no signal, just the occasional weak and unusable signal from Marden at less than -110dBm.
Frustratingly the O2 Status checker maintains that the transmission in Paddock Wood is working fine but that is not the case. It then contradicts itself by saying that “We should have the mast working again by xx:xx” (that being the current time).
If I go to Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells as I did yesterday I get a perfect signal.
It is therefore not the SIM or the phone, but just to double check putting the SIM into another phone gives identical results.

Just for info, when our local mast was upgraded to 4g the signal was on and off for around 3 weeks in total.

Thanks M15. And this upgrade is to 5G!
A problem that the O2 Status Checker can't be trusted.
Have installed the O2 My Network App - it's still looking for a signal.
Network Cell Info Lite can see signals at less than -110Db (unusable).
I guess the difference is the threshold used, i.e. My Network is only looking for a usable signal.
