TWIMC:

Just received my upgrade, replacing Sony Xperia XA1, with a Sony Xperia 10.

Informs me that there is "No SIM. No Service.

Cleaned the SIM card and replaced several times and still no joy.

All else moved across seamlessly - any thoughts please??

If you're 100% sure you are putting sim in correctly it must be a faulty phone, so pop into your local o2 shop for them to look at it for you.

The new sim you have is blank.

You can continue to use your old sim or do a sim swap to the new one if needed.

It is my old SIM card that is transferred over to the new phone, but it is not working.

I declined a new SIM because I didn't need one for the very reason you have stated.

Thoughts??

It's either in the phone wrong, or in wrong position or they have turned off your old sim.

Does it work in your old phone still?

If the new phone is thought to be faulty, pop into your local O2 shop to have it checked.

Being of a mind that I always blame myself before others; I replaced it 3 or 4 times in both the old and new devices.

No joy at all in the new device, but works in my old one.

Was parallel chatting with the O2 Guru, who parrotted what you have asked of me at the same time, with the same results.

I'll take it into the O2 shop for a look see.

Thank you for your efforts
