No Limit Games - charged without my consent

Anonymous
Not applicable

I received a text saying I have subscribed to No limit games (I haven't to my knowledge) and am being charged £2.99/wk.  Spoke to O2 who confirmed I am being charged and they say they can't stop this I have to send a text to unsubscribe (even though I didn't subscribe in the first place!).  When I have tried to send this text a warning comes up saying I will be charged for sending the text.  What on earth do I do and why can't O2 stop unautorised payments from my account?

You need to contact the company yourself and stop the payments - it's nothing to do with o2, they just bill you for what you spend.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Presumably you are getting texts from a short code number. Put that number into the following site and you should find contact details :

http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/

Not sure if this is the same one :

It's also more than likely that you inadvertently signed up be merely clicking on a website link (facebook is the source of many scams)
