I’ve just moved from EE to a Sim Only deal with O2, my texts and calls are working but I can’t use any mobile data. The symbol shows I have 3G but nothing loads on any page.

I’ve tried calling 202 but they can’t divert me to the right area and just hang up

It could be a couple of things @Aled

First check the APN settings on your phone match the correct ones in the link below:

https://theroams.co.uk/providers/o2/guides/internet-settings/

Then check the network doesn't have any issues:

Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

Finally it could simply be that the 3G connection is too slow and won't load the page(s) that you are trying.

Check to see if the google home page loads as that is not too demanding.

@Aled

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
