New voicemail notification

I’m hoping someone can help as this issue is very frustrating, about 2 weeks ago I got a new handset and despite turning off voicemail I keep getting a notification every 20-40 mins saying I have a new voicemail but I actually don’t, I phoned the voicemail line and it’s confirms I have no new or saved messages. I have tried resetting network settings, turning off live voicemail and lots of keyboard combination yet nothing works, underneath the voicemail tab it says data provider. Can someone help get rid of this please

@Bec18

Try leaving yourself a message from another phone, then listen to it and delete it.

Also try this Guide: How to fix stuck voicemail notification

Both options @Bec18 ?

If so, you'll need to speak to O2 Guide: How to find help & contact O2

I have had this problem for several years @Bec18 ; the problem might disappear for up to a few weeks, but it always recurs for me eventually. 👍

Something is wrong though so needs investigating properly.

@Bec18

Ask O2 to reset your mailbox account side.
