New to o2. Changed from Vodaphone to o2 and kept my number

Hi 

Could anybody help me please.

I changed to o2 and kept my number.

I have set up my phone but the number that came with the SIM is showing and not my original mobile number which I want to keep.

Does anybody know how long this will take to change or, if I need to do something to change it myself.

@Joanna7 Did you get a PAC from Vodafone and give it to O2? https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/how-to-keep-your-mobile-number#qs

Ports are taking much longer than they normally do. If it's been some time since you changed providers, you'll need to speak to O2 customer service. Best chance of getting through is 8 am.

Yes, I got a PAC from vodaphone. Sent a SWAP message to o2 but still waiting for my original number to come through 😞

Keep rebooting the phone @Joanna7 

If it's an iphone go to

settings - mobile - my number

and make sure you have the correct number there
