Hi @Kate2

You must follow the procedure here for lost and stolen

https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Lost-or-Stolen-O2-Device-How-to-Report-it/ba-p/1023988

Only then will you be issued with a new sim when O2 have barred your old one

Best of luck

Probably too late to bar anything now so just go to your local O2 shop and take ID to prove who you are and they will issue you with a new SIM with your number and tariff on it.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

I am well aware of that @Kate2. The process is the same however, whether you lose your sim or your phone. It can still be picked up and used by other people. You would be liable for any charges if the sim was used fraudulently.

So please follow the advice given.

Just make sure though @Kate2 that you stress your phone has not been lost because we have seen on here that customer service can make the mistake of barring both phone and sim card.
