I received a new sim with my upgrade to iPhone 12 for 5G yesterday at 14:30 my old phone iPhone 7 had no service and I’m still waiting. When I look at the new phone it’s got the whirling sign with reconnecting showing is this right or had it crashed? I can’t turn the phone off?

Hi Dawn,

It sounds like your new phone has probably frozen and stuck in boot up mode.

Try hard resetting the phone by following this:

1. Quickly press the volume up button and release.

2. Quickly press the volume down button and release.

3. Press and hold the side button until the screen goes blank and an Apple logo appears. When you see the Apple logo you can release.

The phone will restart and you should get service.

Hope this helps slight_smile
