I’m an 02 sim user and I’ve just received my new iPhone 12 Pro 5G and a new sim, do I just my old sim or is the new on still my number?

You can use your old sim but won't get 5g. To get 5G you need to do a sim swap from your old sim to the new one Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update

Right that’s all good but what about my phone number will it change as I really need to keep my old number thanks

Your number will transfer over to the new sim automatically
