Hi,

I have an existing 02 pay monthly which is out of contract.

I have started a new pay monthly via Virgin media/O2. Both show on my O2 account.

I would like to keep my original number but I'm unsure what to do next.

You will need to ask O2 to migrate your old number to the new account. This will close that one down

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Beecham71

We're hearing more and more often that O2 are refusing to do number migrations just lately.

If you run into this, you will need to get your PAC and port out your old number to PAYG on another network, this will cancel the old O2 contract. After 30 days, you can then port that number back into O2 on your new sim.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
