New international rates

Hello - was hoping for some help with the new o2 international roaming rates. O2 texted me on 29/10 to announce changes and linked to this http://mobi.o2.co.uk/pl/svt/si/mo2couk/po/o2uk/pa/intts - which then took me to this page http://mobi.o2.co.uk/pl/svt/si/mo2couk/po/o2uk/pa/intstandardrates.

I've since been in contact and they have sent me this link http://mobi.o2.co.uk/pl/svt/si/mo2couk/po/o2uk/pa/roamingrow.

The first has calls at 40p p/m - the second has it at £1.10 p/m - what is going on? I can't understand why they would send the original link and it be so far off what they are now telling me. I also can't understand the justification for a £1.10 p/m- which includes 1 second calls- that is not the local operators connection charge.

It makes absolutely no sense that many P&G features (especially roaming) are better than for people on contract.

For example, in Thailand now and calls to a landline in the UK with no per second billing :

Pay Monthly £1.50/min

Pay and Go  £0.99/min

Ok so calling mobiles and text messages are cheaper on contract but in heck do they justify 51p/min difference in the example shown?

Agreed Adam but unfortunately not everyone on contract has been able to use TuGo, some handsets don't support it as yet and others are finding it to be very hit and miss. Guess I'm lucky in that respect. I have paid nothing for calls but the above is just an example of inexplicable differences, point being how can they justify such a huge difference.
