Solved: New iPhone 12 pro set up

I have set up my new iPhone 12 pro with the new sim and I only have access to WiFi. No 3G etc and I can’t receive or make calls. Do I need to do something to activate the new sim please?

You need to use your old sim in the new phone or if you really want to use the new 5g sim, do a sim swap from your old sim Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update
