New handset

I currently hold an 02 24 month contract but the handset was recently stolen, are there any deals,offers or pay monthly for a handset only, don't want to take out a new contract as im already paying 32 quid a month and cannot afford the fast track upgrade (Student problems)

First thing is, have you reported the phone to O2 as stolen and had the sim card blocked? O2 will then send you a new sim. You can then find an inexpensive unlocked phone on Amazon or similar site, and use that until you reach your upgrade month.

You should be able to use it with your contract sim.

Yes, but I don't see anywhere in the links that you can use a contract sim in a Pay and Go phone.

Hi,

Assuming you dont have house insurance or your bank account does not give mobile cover too.

Have you thought about places such as CEX who sell mobile phones at reduced prices as they are traded in by members. a lot of them are unwanted upgrades.

Think if you have anything you want to sell such as dvd's /games /games consoles /ipods etc as CEX buy things like this as long as your a member. You just need i.d.
