I am looking to sign up a Black Friday deal for a sim for an ipad. When asked “is this sim for an iphone” - is the answer yes or no?

The answer is Yes, as this will add iData which is required for an iPad.

Also make sure this is a new number and NOT an upgrade, or you will lose access to your phone.

For an iPad you need a data SIM

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
