New contract

Does anyone know what it means by repayment on the My 02 app? Its my first contract phone and I’m a little confused. Also it’s saying that £28 has been taken for my device part of my payment already but my contract is not due until the 3rd of October, does this mean I have to pay twice? And if so why?

Hi @Anonymous You obviously have a Refresh contract. If so, 2 payments are taken. 1 for the device and the other for the airtime

So no, you wont be paying twice, it's simply that your contract is split into two parts...

@Anonymous You will pay your  airtime plan at the end of the month when your bill is generated then your device plan is paid 2 weeks later

I get what your all saying but on my app it’s sayinf under my device payment that’s it been paid to date but it’s also saying that the payment is due on the 3rd as well 😕 which is why I was asking if I will get billed twice for it because it’s saying that the payment is still being taken out on the 3rd basically...

Sounds like the payment due on the 3rd is for your airtime payment.

Under normal circumstances, payment is taken 14 days after bill is issued. There is a way to check on the O2 website:

Go into Billing, "View current and previous bills", and then there you should see a "Payment history" section.

Screenshot below, see the section in the red box, @Anonymous

Hope this helps?
