Hello, I have a contract with o2 which is well beyond its end date - think its been going about 7 years, and is now sim only. I would like to upgrade, however the price of a contract via mobiles.co.uk is far cheaper than what I can get through upgrading. If I order an O2 phone via mobiles.co.uk, am I then able to end my first contract and switch my phone number to my new contract?

Get your new contract first or you'll lose the number, then call and ask customer service to migrate your number to the new contract.
