I set up new family contract with 2 new numbers on my bill its still showing the old numbers as active

Did you contact o2 and cancel the old numbers, by giving 30 days notice?

As contracts roll on at the end of term.

Why would the old numbers stop if you set up new ones @Babyewok?
You need to tell o2 that you no longer want the old ones for them to stop, as advised...
