Hi, I am about to join O2 and have just submitted my PAC number.
I wondered whether I will need to change the settings on my phone to accommodate O2 from my last provider?
If so, can anyone tell me how to do this please.
I haven't yet been cut off by the last provider so still have my old sim installed.
Any help would be appreciated. I use an iPhone 6s Plus.
Many thanks.

Hi Jamjar,

Yes you will probably need to reset your network settings when you insert the O2 simcard.

Step 1. Tap the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2. Tap General.

Step 3. Scroll down to find Reset and tap it.

Step 4. In the new window, select Reset Networking Settings and confirm the action.

@JamJar

When you put your O2 sim in your phone, just go to network settings, scroll down and tap on reset network settings.

Wait for restart or restart phone manually and you'll be all good.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Your phone should pick up the settings from the sim card so no need to alter anything

Either way, the settings are here

Great, thanks so much. I've done a screen shot so I don't lose the information. Will let you know if it works, probably tomorrow.
