My new phone and sim came today, I've set everything else up but now my sim isn't connecting to anything

@Kb98 Your new sim will be blank. You can either carry on using your old sim, or you can swap it if you're in a 5G area and want to avail yourself of that service.. This can be done by either going into an O2 store, where they will do it for you, or you can do it yourself:

If you're a new O2 customer, you'll need to call customer service on 0800 032 1402 and have the new sim activated. 

When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
