I was sold a newer, cheaper sim only deal. Sim has arrived but, due to being carer of one of the 1.5 million extremely vulnerable citizens, I can't afford to have my phone go down whilst my number is being migrated.
I am concerned that, if I put the new sim in and try to ring 202, I will be in a massively long queue.
Anyone got any ideas? I am now paying for 2 numbers so ... at the moment it is not such a good deal.

You won't be in a long queue if you are able to tell them you are a member of the frontline staff.
