New Sim for current contract

I got a new iphone 6 last week along with a new sim, I have out the new sim in and set it all up but it doesnt seem to be registered to my number.  What do I need to do?

Or text SWAP to 20220 from the old SIM.

Another alternative is to call into your local O2 store who will do it for you.
