New SIM not working after transfer

I have transferred to O2 from Virgin. Yesterday I received my new SIM. I phoned to arrange the transfer of my old number and was told the transfer would take place before 6pm today, an I would receive a couple of texts to say when.
I have not received to these texts and now NEITHER MY VIRGIN SIM OR MY O2 SIM IS WORKING, so I have no phone.

My husband has exactly the same problem.

Try rebooting your phone.

If that doesn't work, you need to contact O2.

message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 or download Skype if you don't have any phone to call from Guide: A Guide to Skype
