As I have family in Jersey I am NOT HAPPY that all of a sudden this is no longer going to be classed as UK and I will be charged extra for these calls. Had I known this was coming I would not have changed to O2 from Orange. I WILL NOT be paying these charges and WILL NOT be renewing my contract on expiry. In future I shall use Skype to talk to my family over there!

O2 were in fact the only network that included these calls.
These islands were never part of the UK.

Certain Orange tariffs do include these calls in the allowance... obviously can't guarantee all do...

will it also cost us to text the Isle of Man etc, or is it just calls that are changing?
