You can request a new sim online or call into an O2 shop. Do you have a 4G ready phone?

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Anyone can switch to a 4G sim regardless of receiving or using 4G. Data will still work on 3G the same as now.

I am looking at getting a 4G phone, I am still using my 3G one. I wasn't sure where this could be requested online and how it will affect my current contract.

It will have no effect at all on current contract.
Order a sim from live chat (make sure you get the correct one for contract or PAYG) then when you receive the sim, do a sim swap here http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/

hm. i ordered a 4g sim via the online chat before Christmas.

oddly, it has yet to arrive.

mind you, I'm also still waiting for the Chat Transcipt to turn up too.

ah well, only 3 months before I can migrate to another provider slight_smile

You might be better off calling CS on the phone?
