Network Mast Down

Anonymous

The Network in my are is an utter joke!! Been down for about 2 months now & all I keep getting told is to "be patient, the network in your area will be vastly improved soon!!!" How bloody soon? 2 months is a joke! I have 4 pay monthly accounts with o2 yet I can't use any of them!! Will I be compensated for this?

Hi @Anonymous O2 will never give timescales on mast repairs. You could download the app and report through that https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network  You could also make an official complaint https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

You may be compensated if you make enough complaints about no service

@Anonymous If you call customer service & explain to them they may give you a goodwill gesture for the downtime. O2 do not give out timescales for repairs

Thanks guys. I'm definately going to complain. All 4 members in my family have been without a usable network for about 2 months & in 2017, that is totally unacceptable!

Sounds like a major network upgrade isn't going too well.
These things usually only take 2 or 3 weeks to do so it's unusual for it to take as long as yours has.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Mnnn please be patient Popcorn

Terrible for it to be taking so long, unacceptable.

Hopefully you will all wake up one morning sooner rather than later and notice a juicy 4G in the notification bar on your phones. Fingers crossed for you 🤞
